I have gotten a bunch of random facebook spam emails from people I haven’t heard from in years telling me to check out a link that as it would turn out is complete spam and a potential virus (people please verify via comments). The subject says “Veryy goodd vid withh youu” and the message contains some form of link with extremedemonstration or mymovies or some sort of random nonsense that is complete and total junk mail.
Facebook has officially started sending spam emails, or at the very least, people’s accounts are being compromised by a virus, spyware, malware, or hacking; however you put it it’s not good. I have no doubt that facebook will fix it soon, however, this is the most recent of many “attacks” launched against facebook.
With that being said, I could go on and on about the recent changes that have taken shape at facebook but for now let’s just fix this problem. Whenever I receive an email from Facebook I’m nervous enough that someone tagged an awkward photo of me or that and old flame messaged me, the last thing I want is a nasty spam message or raunchy redirect with a virus twist.
