AvantGuard is the latest in fashion doll technology by Jason Wu and Integrity Toys that feature high-end collectible dolls. The AvantGuards are a brand new concept that will transport you into a world of cutting edge fashion and allow you to explore new creative possibilities. These dolls are the Bentley’s of Doll Collecting. Key features of these new collectible fashion dolls include: interchangeable wigs, 21 points of articulation (including fingers and toes), Two sets of hands (fashion pose and articulated fingers), Two sets of feet (solid high-heel and articulated toes), and a New and improved doll stand Approx. 16 3/4” tall.
Who is Jason Wu?
Born in Taipei, China, Jason moved to Vancouver, Canada when he was 9 years old. At 14 he went to Art school in Tokyo where he remained until his Senior year of high school when he moved to Paris, France.
His line can be found all over major department stores including Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, and Louis Boston.
Why does Jason Woo matter?
Jason Wu has a diverse array of clients ranging from Ivanka Trump, Kerry Washington, and most recently the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama as he made her inauguration gown (see image right).
Jason has been featured in numerous publications and magazines including the New York Times, Vogue, and Vanity Fair just to name a few.
Jason Woo as he is commonly referred to is fast becomming a household name, especially after how stunning the first lady looks in his gown! And to think he began his collection in 2006!
